COVID 19

These times are unprecedented. For some people, this time presents an opportunity to pause and reflect, while for others there is no respite from the onslaught. Into whichever camp you fall, the SAGES Research and Education Foundation hopes for your well-being and for that of your family, friends and colleagues.

As we take time to pause, we want you to know how very grateful we are to you, our donors. Your generosity over the years has helped build the Foundation into a strong organization, one able withstand the tides of change. We not only want to thank you; we also want to reassure you that our work continues.

As you know, the Foundation supports myriad SAGES projects each year, transformative work that fulfills our mission to advance minimally invasive and endoscopic surgical care. We look forward to the fall of this year when the Foundation will once again award worthy initiatives.

In the meantime, SAGES continues to be a resource amid this pandemic. We encourage you to visit the SAGES website at https://www.sages.org/category/covid-19/ to access their statements and guidelines regarding COVID 19.

We continue to work towards returning to familiar habits. When that time comes the Foundation excitedly anticipates honoring all the SAGES and SERF award recipients at the annual luncheon, Wednesday, August 12 from 12:00 – 1:30 pm at the SAGES meeting in Cleveland. We hope that you will be there with us – not only to acknowledge the great work of the winners, but also to celebrate the opportunity to come together.

Be well.
