SERF Meets Turf 3K Fun/Run
On April 23rd, SAGES Education and Research Foundation hosted their first SERF MEETS TURF Run on April 23, 2009!
Thanks to a wonderful sponsorship from Ethicon Endo-Surgery and the 54 registrants, together we raised $19,000 for minimally invasive surgical research and resident training- a feat that certainly deserves a first place ribbon!
The mission of the SAGES Foundation is to advance endoscopic, laparoscopic, and emerging minimal access surgical methods and to maintain the highest possible quality of care by supporting reproducible scientific research, graduate and postgraduate education, and public information. We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude towards Ethicon Endo-Surgery and all SERf Meets TURF participants- your contribution is not only keeping minimally invasive surgery in the forefront but also raising visibility for a still relatively unknown cause.
